payments
For private-pay patients, payment is expected in full at time of service. For patients who have insurance, we will verify your coverage and get a breakdown of your dental benefits. We will gladly bill your insurance, and we ask that you pay your estimated portion at time of service.

in-network insurance companies *
We are in-network with Aetna PPO, Aetna Vital Savings, & Aetna Dental Access only. We are NOT in-network with Aetna Life or Aetna DMO plans (benefits may be greatly reduced, or not available on those plans).
Delta Dental Premier provider. Benefits may be the same if you have a Delta PPO plan, please contact us to verify exact benefits.
We do NOT participate with Meridian Healthy Michigan Plan thru Delta Dental so no benefits would be available if you have this plan. Healthy Michigan Plan patients must see a participating dentist in order to receive benefits.
BCBS Blue Par Select Provider. We are NOT in-network with BCBS EPO plans. EPO plan patients must see a BCBS EPO Dentist in order to receive benefits.
Healthy Kids thru Delta Dental ONLY. Healthy Kids thru BCBS will pay us $0.
*Additional Info regarding in-network insurance companies:
Aetna PPO plans we are in-network with. Aetna DMO & Aetna Life we are not in-network with.
Assurant Employee Benefits and Guardian we are in-network with only if they utilize the Aetna PPO network.
Delta Dental Premier Provider. Check what percentages your plan pays a Premier dentist.
BCBS of MI pays us based on your plans out-of-network benefit percentages but we do lower our fee to what they allow us to charge. Sort of like a hybrid between being in-network and out-of-network. However, BCBS of MI EPO plans we are not an in-network provider so your plan would pay us $0.
Healthy Kids & MI Child Dentist through age 18 only. The Healthy Michigan Plan or other Medicaid Plans for adults ages 19 and older we are not an in-network provider so your plan would pay us $0. We only accept Healthy Kids through Delta Dental. We do not accept the Healthy Kids plan through BCBS.
These are the most popular insurance companies we are in network with. We have agreed to lower our charges to what they allow for each procedure. Then they will pay based on the percentages setup on your plan.
Example:
If we charged $90 for a cleaning… Our contract with your insurance only allows us to charge $70, and your insurance pays 100%. Your insurance pays $70. We write-off $20. You pay $0.
reduced fee plans that we accept
Reduced Fee Plans are NOT insurance. We verify that you have signed up with these plans, then we lower our standard fees to the fees allowed by our contract with Aetna. Payment is required in full at time of service to receive this discount. Cheapest place to sign up for these plans that we have found is www.vitalsavings.com. $90/year for 1 person or $120/year for a family. Every procedure has a different savings, but on average you will save approximately 25% off most procedures.
SOME OF THE other insurances that our patients have (out-of-network. see notes below on what this may mean for you)**
**These companies we are either out-of-network with, or they are not part of a dental network and for them there is no such thing as in-network or out-of-network providers. We will gladly bill your insurance, and these companies will pay based on the amounts that they consider reasonable & customary for each procedure. It is your responsibility for any remaining balance should our fees be over what they allow as reasonable & customary.
Example:
We charge $90 for a cleaning. Your insurance allows $80 and pays 100% for a preventive service such as a cleaning. They will pay $80. Your portion due would be $10.
